Fiona Mactaggart MP, Home Office Minister for Race Equality, visited Leeds to officially launch a new e-learning company producing equality and diversity training software.
Leeds-based Diverse Culture's training solutions include race, age, disability, religion and belief, gender and sexual orientation. Its training courses are unique in using neuro-linguistic programming techniques to actually help employees question the way they think and behave, instead of tradional learning by rote.
Diverse Culture is privately financed and is being supported by West Yorkshire Ventures which offers a specialist programme to support start-up businesses with serious growth potential. The company expects to grow to a turnover of £1.5 million within three years. |
